The City of Asheville Sanitation Division will also help you recycle natural Christmas trees. Place trees at the curb by 7 a.m. on the Monday of your regular brush collection week. The city says the trees will be taken to Riverside Stump Dump and recycled into mulch.

“I think it’s important to showcase what we get to do and just for a good cause, too,” said Megan Pottschmidt, a senior at Trinity Lutheran High School. “It’s nice that the community gets to be a little more involved and we get to be more involved in the community.”
